16-Feb-2023 (In Armed Forces Tribunal Law)
Hi, Sir my name is Sanjay Jha S/o Dasrath Rupkant Jha who served in Indian army for 4yrs and 3 months and participated in two wars in 1962 and 1963 in which he was wounded by a bullet, however he was retired on medical circumtances saying Neurotic Depression but still did not receive any pension.
Dear serving in Indian army for 4yrs and 3 months and participated in two wars in 1962 and 1963 was a great sacrifice but in which he was wounded by a bullet, and he retired on medical circumstances saying Neurotic Depression but still did not receive any pension is really a matter of shame from the Govt , now time has come to do something.
My understanding is he would have been retired in 1965 or 1966? Did he fulfill the criteria to be eligible for pension in the first place? If yes then did your father or you approached the appropriate authority all this while? You may not have a case now.
Hello Mr Sanjay Jha, It is unfortunate that after having fought two wars for the nation you are still not paid the invalid pension. We will be able to help you without any fee since you are war veteran please let us know what are the documents you have to support your case. Regards
