How much time will it take to transfer the land in the name of father to a son?Please explain complete procedure.If tehsildar has completed the procedure but talathi is not responding, what can we do?

you need file petition for letters of administration for transfer of Land from father to son if property value more than 11 lakhs than you have pay court fees of Rs. 75,000/- if all legal heirs consenting it takes approx 5 to 6 months for obtaining the said Certificate and later the procedure for transfer will begin

We have 1sop and 2 lop.my father willingly needs to transfer his ownership to his sons.i would lik to knw al th required steps ..and the nominal fees to be paid to an advocate..because i feel that our lawyer is grabbing more money ..steps and all legal papers and the nominal fee..

Court having jurisdiction to grant certificate.-The District Judge within whose jurisdiction the deceased ordinarily resided at thetime of his death, or, if at that time had no fixed place of residence, the District Judge, within whose jurisdiction any part of the property of the deceased may be found, may grant a certificate under this Part, HENCE u will have to apply in District Court Thane
