Advocate Shikher Deep Aggarwal

Advocate Shikher Deep Aggarwal's legal career encompasses a wide range of litigation and non-litigation experiences. He is presently practicing independently in various Courts and Tribunals and is exclusively handling the entire litigation portfolio independently, which includes drafting opinions and representing clients in a wide spectrum of subject matters including Criminal Litigation. Under criminal law, Shikher has been actively involved in getting Regular Bail, Anticipatory Bail, and Bail through Special Leave Petition, handling arguments on framing of charge and defending the clients, filing of revision petitions against the orders of Metropolitan Magistrate, Examination, Cross-Examination and Re-examination of witnesses and accused, filing of complaints under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act.

While towards civil litigation, Shikher has handled recovery suits, winding up petitions, Contempt Petition(Civil) before the High Court, Delhi, defending various clients in cases relating to the violation of Intellectual Property Rights, filing objections at the time of execution of a partition decree on behalf of the tenant u/o 21 CPC, drafting and vetting of variety of documents and contracts pertaining to and including: Lease, sale of immovable property, deeds and agreements; MOUs;, handling matters pertaining to sealing of property and consequent actions taken under Delhi Municipal Corporation Act, 1957 (specifically on use and misuse of property linked with unauthorised construction within or outside the compoundable limits), filing applications u/s 17 of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Act, 2002 for setting aside order granted by CMM u/s 14 and restraining Bank from taking the possession of the property of clients.

He has also conducted mediation proceedings along with Retired Judge of Allahabad High Court, Justice A.K. Srivastava for deciding upon the dispute - arising out of division of property. He has fought various cases for a Real Estate Company in Gurgaon and drafted various legal notices and replies pertaining to various subject matters. Shikher has been regularly appearing before the Supreme Court of India, various High Court across India, including Delhi, Patna, Cuttack, Punjab & Haryana etc. He has also appeared before Central Administrative Tribunals, National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commissions and various District Consumer Redressal Forums.

Advocate Shikher won the Superior Intelligence prize in CSR Puzzle Contest held at Delhi Book Fair and is a member of the Organizing Committee (Development Welfare and Research Department), for National Seminar on ‘Building Knowledge and Networks to Address Elder Abuse in India: Pathways to Human Rights’. He is also the member of Organizing Committee (Human Rights Law Network), for National Conference on ‘Human Rights’, Mumbai.

Advocate Shikher enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi in 2012. He is a member of the Supreme Court Bar Association and Delhi High Court Bar Association.
