A friend of mine makes vines and funny videos. He has his Instagram profile where he uploaded a video/ vine that is related to lawyers/advocates. It went a little viral and some known pages started uploading it: On his Instagram Profile:  Recently Lawyers/Advocates and people started threatening him that he shall face consequences and this video was defamatory considering it was a light hearted video and had a disclaimer too. Any response would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yes it is an offence punishable under law and your friend can be booked under different sections of law now your friend can make an apology for posting such video and make that apology public otherwise he has to face the santions of law



Q: Lawyer filed assault case against policeman no lawyer taking his case

I m a police men.before some day a lawer filed a complaint against me in court that police men has beaten me unnecesarly .i received summon from court . And also attended the court. Unfortunately i have been transfered from one plce to another 300 km away from court . No advocate of that court is agree to take my case because advocates have association . And it is not possible for me to attend the court every month because i m 300km away from court. Now the question is i hv not any lawer And department not permitting me to attend the every month. Court regularly issuing warrant against me what can i do ? Plz sir reply

U can make a transfer application before the competent court of jurisdiction and raise the same queries there and may be court can engage a lawyer for u and the best way is to compound the matter with the lawyer

FIR is not to be cancelled, no one can cancel the FIR it is to be quashed and it is being quashed by being approaching to High Court for quashment by filing a petition for quashment, or police can not admit the FIR
