Q: Father and brother sold ancestral property without my consent

There was some ancestral property which was sold by my father and brother 5 years back without my knowledge and consent. What action can i take against them?

Sir, you can still file a suit for cancellation of sale deed which is void ab intio upto your share but you will have to show that when you came to about the sale because limitation of such suit is only 3 years from the date of knowledge.



Q: someone constructed house on my parents property what action to take

My Father brought a piece of land in 1965 in my mother's name in Hyderabad and got it registered in my mother's name. we shifted from Hyderabad and settled in our Native place in Karnataka. Meanwhile somebidy constructed a house in that land. meantime Father & mother expired. The encumbrance certificate taken in around year 2000 still holds my mother name. Now Can i claim any compensation on the occupant or do I have any rights on the said land ? Please advice.
