Q: What to do a career consultant is not returning my money

A career consultant has taken money from me so that they can apply me in a job. But now when I paid them their fee they are not treating me properly and I find suspicious activities which likely lead to fraud. I have a fear that they might not give me my money back. What should I do to get my money back? Also, I have a fear that they would run from their office taking my money which amounts to 18000. I live in Delhi. As per my safety, I have recorded all my conversation. And the amount was also transferred digitally so I have digital transaction record as well.

you can simply lodge an FIR against the consultant regarding the said fraud with you and then you have to file a complaint case against the Consultant and recover the amount as the laws regarding the recovery of this kind of money is quite simple and effective

Q: Legal action to be taken if loan amount and interest are not repaid

I have given 45 lakh to my relative and he is not paying me back from last 3 years n he is not paying any intrest also and i dont have any proof what to do?

start collecting some proofs related to the loan and start conversing to the relative for the loan amount through text massages whatsapp or emails etc. and then when you get any proof about the loan only then you can proceed further for the repayment of the loan.

Q: How to claim money from a person if their is no formal agreement

my grandfather took some amount of money from a person( but they never told us about that money) . after his death, my father took a social responsibility and whole some of money transferred to his name. but after claiming the amount by his name, once my father observe that one figure does not have my grandfather's thumb ( because he was illiterate) .my father ask that person about the thumb impression verification but he refused and said whole money is on your name and you have to pay it. he generate some social pressure on my family. my father ask some local lawyer ,he simply said you can't ask for verification because that money is now on your name and you have to pay it. Is any law prescribed by which we can get verification of thumbs of all the amounts. my father never refused to pay but now they issued a notice to pay or face in the court. what should we have to do to get thumb verification. we belong to Hindu religion.

dear sir as i can see that the case is simply recovery suit in which you have to defend but kindly contact the other part that the matter would only be disposed after proper verification and once they agree for the same you can call the handwriting expert in the court he will verify the same

Q: Clarification on payment of father's loan by son after father's demise

my father live in village and I (his child) live in town.My father took loan (approx 2 cr) from different people in village..and he dead after some years. Then people who give loan to my father came in my house and say to give that loan. my question is that legally should I pay that loan..

As per the Hindu Succession Act, 2005 son is not liable to pay back his father's debt out of anything that he had made out of his own income or savings. He is only liable to pay out of what was his father's property and his inheritance in the same. For instance, the bank would auction his father's house to recover the dues, but, the law doesn't allow the banks to liquidate Son's house if he is not a co-borrower.

Q: What to do if my original composition has been stolen and copied

I had composed a song for a school and sung. It was decided that I will be paid Rs 25000 against my composition by the school management. But the school didn't paid me even a single money. And using my song for school branding and promotion. When I asked for my money the management refused to pay the amount. My song is not copyright but I have the certificate of music studio where I recorded the song. Please suggest me how I proceed legally.

you can proceed for the legal action under the intellectual property laws and you can also file a criminal complaint for breach of trust but you must have necessary documents in order to prove your stand in the court.
