Q: Can brokerage in property deal be avoided if not paid can case be file

I have seen a property through a property agent, he introduced me to the seller, but the deal was not finalized due to our restricted budget. Later it was come to my knowledge that the seller is a good friend of my office colleague. My colleague talked with him and he agreed for the amount which was under our budget. Since the deal is now finalized, the property agent is coming to the picture and asking me for 1% brokerage. He is threatening me that he will file a cheating case against me if not paid. Please guide me that whether I have to pay him brokerage charges and whether a case can be filed against me for cheating. Please guide Sir.

we have a property purchased on mother in law name and is registerd on her name. now what is the best wat as per prevaling laws to transfer the propert on my wife that is daughter (mother to daughter) to avoid any complication of property at later stage

Sir meine ek plot ka agreement kiya aur 2 lakh adv syahi pete diye. Baki 13 lakh ka payment 45 din me dena fix hua. Ab jab meine plot ki enquiry ki to mujhe pata laga yeh plot jisse mein agreement kar raha hu usne jisse kharida tha us admi ne kisi aur ko bhi power of attorney se becha hua hai. Ab kya mein seller se mere 2 lakh wapas le sakta hu ya nahi. Kyuki usne kisi ko nhi becha hai. Mera agreement bhi registered nahi hai. Kya mujhe 2 lakh adv k liye court se help mil sakti hai ya police se? Help me

Q: Property ownership transfer to mother after father death how to do it

My father died without will, leaving behind my mother, married sister(she has given up her claim for my mother on stamp paper attested by notary and judge), me my wife and my minor son. Now we want to transfer ownership in my mother's name. The property is society owned and with patta of society. There is no claim on property other than regular electricity and water bills. How should we proceed with transfer in shortest period of time?
