Q: Can i use a bollywood or hollywood name for my start up

Dear Sir, Can I give name to my startup , same as Bollywood Movie Series name or Movie's Character Name. Will it possible if someone from other country can put allegation on that. FYI the name is not get registered in India yet. Please let me know

Q: Domain name similar to news channel is it infringement of copyright

I have a domain name (mirrornow.org) which is similar to a news channel mirrornow.in they want i give this domain to them on which rate i buy it from godaddy.com. But i think i am owner of this domain now so i want to sell it on my prices is it legal.

Q: lawyer took signatures in blank paper for quashing case, can he misuse

have signed a blank green coloured paper and given to a lawyer for quashing a case. I was victim im a criminal case that is to be quashed.This paper is not used till date. I want to know whether that green coloured paper be used for any legal purpose against me in future. Like whether my property or any other thing can be in danger? I am not misunderstanding my lawyer. But only for sake of knowledge.

Dear MaamAs a thumb rule, one should never ever give any blank paper signed to anyone. In your case you have not mentioned if there was any stamp on the legal paper you signed. In the presence of a stamp, the purpose for which it can be used gets limited as usually a stamp of Rs. 20- 100 can be affixed over it. This is not sufficient to transfer a property. Neither it can be used as an affidavit as it would require signatures to be made at specific places after printing the affidavit. If we talk specifically about property, I doubt his intention for taking signatures for that purpose. As you know your lawyer best, I too think it should have been taken for some legal purpose involving your case only and not with some malafide intention. RegardsAdv. Nitin Sharma

Q: Cheating of 70700 Rs online by giving fake job offer in a bank

sir, in may 2015, a noida based job consultancy informed us by mobile/emails that they have shortlisted my daughter's resume by internet and offered a job in axis bank for her.we deposited 70700/- on different dates in installments in their 3 bank a/c hdfc/icici/pnb as they demanded (one a/c was on consultancy name noida based and two a/c was on individual names residents of delhi) no amount was given them in cash directly. After getting such amount, they switched off their all phones/stopped replying my emails.we have their all 3 addresses which are registered with their 3 bank a/cs and we send them legal notices to them but all notices returned by replying that these are not proper addresses whereas i am 100% sure that they intentionally returned the notices.Guide me the easiest way of recovery.where should i lodge complaint Mohali or Muktsar.I have all their emails/phone nos/pan details record.Now i am living at Mohali (PB) but at the time of incident i was living in Muktsar(PB)

Dear SirAs the case detailed by you. There are certain points that need to be discussed.1. kindly send the email addresses from which you have received the email.2. Kindly send the offer letter/ documentation sent3. What was the mode of transfer of money (internet banking or deposit at your bank branch)? The next course of action will largely depend on the above facts. Though the case dates back to 2015, we do not have much options to look for, but we can initiate a legal action by the following ways.1. Send a registered AD letter to the SSP Mohali/Muktsar (As the case may arise) detailing him about the complaint. He will then mark the complaint to the relevant Economic Offence wing as per the jurisdiction.2. Same letter copy should also be sent to the SSP Noida.3. A complaint needs to be sent to the 3 banks & RBI to freeze the accounts as they are not KYC compliant as per the RBI norms and the bank is answerable in such case. These are the options we have with us, but the chances of recovery of money is very bleak until we are able to trace two things:1. The person2.
