Q: Regarding will to son from father without consent from daughter

Hi sir, i am shilpa we have ancestral property of 17 acre land, in that my father already willed 7 acre land to my alone brother, he wrote tlike this,, i am willing my share to my son since he is alone son and he is very much interested in fielding, and he is my very loving son, so i am hand overing this to him, written like this in court issued certificate, i never know that when i signed, i think i didn't sign, but still how can he write will.

Until and unless a person has absolute right or title over the property he can’t execute WILL in favour of anyone.. If your father has done that then you can challenge the same in jurisdictional Court of law.

Q: What to do if my in laws and my husband is physically abusing me

Hi I'm from andhra Pradesh got married to kannadiga my husband is from a joint family my mother in law and my husband brother and my husband brothers wife tortures me abuses me alot at present I'm at andhra Pradesh in my parents place will I be able to file a domestic violence at andhra Pradesh please suggest

Yes you can file a petition invoking the provisions of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act against your husband and his relatives at Andhrapradesh seeking Protection, Maintenance and Compensation.

Q: Buyer invested in an under developed layout & owner delaying work

Our family had invested 4 Lakh rs on site, in an under development layout, from a person in the town. We went for deal through a known person. Seller/owner said development will be completed and site will be registered soon. Even after years he did not develop the layout. Everytime we call/meet and ask, he used to say will complete in month or so.. but never did any progress. after few years we argued that our money could have got better interest, if invested somewhere else, then he gave an updated document of the property agreement showing 7.5 Lakhs invested (additional amount as interest given). And said to wait for some more time for layout development. Even then he did not progress with layout and he died. Later the responsibility of layout was taken over by his brother. It is been 3-4 years, again the new person also continued saying will complete soon. But not making any progress, neither giving the money. It was hard earned money. Please suggest how we can get this issue solved.

Issue a Legal notice through a Lawyer demanding the legal representative of the developer to either give site or return your money along with interest. If he neglects or refuse to respond positively then you can file a consumer complaint

Q: Need maintenance from husband how to claim

Dear All Am married since 4 years I have son 2 years old my husband is not ready to spend money for wife n son. At the time of marriage he lied that he done degree but he have not passed 10th std also. Till 2 years he dint come to see myself and my kid. Please suggest what action I can take

You can file a petition invoking Section 125 of CRPC seeking maintenance for yourself and your kid before family court. And you can also file divorce petition if you do not wish to continue matrimonial life..or you can file petition seeking restitution of conjugal rights

You will have to file a transfer petition before Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka and convince the court why you want the case to be transferred. Court may not allow your petition on temporary health issues
