Can we register marriage online through video conferencing.Bride is in uk on student visa.Families of both bride and groom don't have problem with marriage and falls under Hindu religion. Bride won't be able to come to India before the course completes in 2024.Both wants to get married as soon as possible so that the groom can file for dependent visa .

Yes. but need to get prior permission from concerned Marriage Registrar and a court order to expedite the granting of permission might get necessary. Online marriage have infact become common these days especially after Covid 19

If any mou is executed on stamp paper that dowry neither taken nor demanded can it stop to file cases again in future if dispute arises again in future

The so called MOU wil stand as a primary sworn against the future demand but there can be a case that dowry was demanded thereafter the date of MOU. Otherwise if proved that MOU executed with undue influense, it wont stand a chance and will be considered sham

Without a court order with proper jurisdiction you cant have a divorce under any of the Indian Law. There exists practises like agreement and such. But they r not legal. A legal marriage solemnized under Indian Law shall be separated through a Court of law otherwise wont be valid

Q: Friend is blackmailing with a stampaper

My name is sooraj 36years old. on 2015 one of my friend afsal gave 5.59lakhs as a deposit tomy saving bank account for commodity market (sharemarketing). Unfortunately the first month itself sales was flop and the whole amount lost. I am not a trader. but as a friend he deposited. later i gave 2lakhs to him in various instalment..after 1 year he started blaming me and threatening me that he will make trouble at my home..then i wrote in a 100rs stamppaper that i will give the 6lakhs rs back with in 6month. and given to him. but i could arrange the amount and he was not ready to adjust the loss. the oraly we made a compromise that he want 60% of the amount and rest he wavedoff. i paid the said amount by feb 2017. but now after 5 years he again filed a case in local police station and asking for the remaining 40 % ..the stamppaper is with him. that is not noterized. is there any way to get ridoff from this blackmail?i dont have any money to give to him...i didnt borrow from him..

hai you need to aver the stamp paper legally by a demand notice. since you are almost specific on date of stamp paper. i think its a fair case. A demand notice legally regarding the facts of ita possession and validity will wipe off ur doubts and fear on the matter hope am up to your query

My Mom ( age 52) does not have any ID cards handy, she had one voters ID card at the age of 35, but she lost that card as well. now she does not have any Valid Address or ID proofs. looking for best options to apply for Voters ID or Aadhar Card.She currently have a certificate from YMCA ( where she is residing now) and a school extract certificate.

school extract can be used for opening a bank account. thereaftr u can secure either a Pan. Thereafter check in at ur nearest Akshaya Centre. also hav ur local panchayat member or collect voters list where u can spot her voter ID. Then through akshaya under any of the above said medium u can log to Aadhaar portal through Akshya
