Advocate Syed Imran Ibrahim completed his B.A.LL.B. from Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University. He holds a Diploma in Corporate Law, from Asian School of Cyber Laws and a Diploma in Cyber Law, from the Government Law College, Mumbai and Asian School of Cyber Laws.

He was appointed as the Amicus Curiae by Hon'ble Mr. Amar Saran,J. and Hon'ble Ms. Naheed Ara Moonis,J. vide order dated 10.01.2011, in Jail Appeal No. 5198 of 2005, Saeeduddin versus State of U.P. which was decided by Hon'ble Mr. Amar Saran,J. and Hon'ble Ms. Naheed Ara Moonis,J. vide judgment and order dated 03.03.2011 and by Hon'ble Mr. Amar Saran,J. and Hon'ble Mrs. Vijay Lakshmi,J. vide order dated 10.03.2014, in Criminal Appeal No. 906 of 1983, Saeed Khan versus State of U.P. which has been argued and awaiting judgment.
Advocate Imran also presented a Paper on “Afzal Guru’s Death Sentence (in favour of clemency)” at the Students Seminar on the Capital Punishment: Retention v. Abolition Debate on 15th November, 2006 which was attended by Ms. Nandita Haskar, Human Rights Activist & Advocate, Supreme Court of India, at the Administrative Block, Aligarh Muslim University. He also presented a Paper on “Failures and Successes of the Indian Constitution” on Law Day, 26th November, 2006 which was attended by Mr. Colin Gonsalves, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India and Dr. George Mathew, Director, Indian Social Science Centre, New Delhi.
Advocate Ibrahim enrolled with the Uttar Pradesh Bar Council in 2010. He is also a Member of the Allahabad High Court Bar Association.
