HI,want to know about tenants law as i haven't got my lease since am living this place and am paying rent in cash, also, landlord wants me to give all of my friends or visitors legal id's could you please advise

Advocate Harinder Pal Singh Verma answered
no he can't say like this. there is no such provision in rent act to give any particular or personal document of any such person to a landlord. you can refuse to supply them. but it should be kept in mind by you that there should not be any unlawful activities on your part in the rented property while occupying the rented premises otherwise he may seek your eviction from the same.

Q: We got stay order .and wants to construction

Hlo respected My father buy a ploat .then we construct on it but not do complete who sold us this to us his wife file a case in court .but we do counter claim and .we got stay order on it .hounerabl court said to plentiff don't interfering on this plot .Now my question is can now we do construction on our plote

Advocate Harinder Pal Singh Verma answered
if there is no stay of construction against you then you can raise construction. you are the owner of property on the basis of registered sale deed and court has granted stay in your favour. law is that no stay can be granted against a true owner of a property and you are true owner and if title is clear then no body can stop you.
