My wife and I got married in a church in Chennai - by then, we hadn't registered our marriage in a registrar's office. we have moved to Pune city and settled here. can we register our marriage in Pune registrar's office ?

The following are the steps that need to be followed at the registration office: Fill in the marriage application form (Form No. MTR-2) and sign it in front of the officer. Bring along your Identity Proof such as Aadhar Card, Passport, Driving License etc.Once the application is submitted to the Government Office it will take minimum 30 days / One Month as per Govt. Rule for processing.

I have a 7 year old daughter and at present staying with her mother. I am working in sindhudurg and wife in mumbai since April 2022.Both me and my wife are reluctant to change job location and no compromise is in sight. Can I get my daughter to stay with me and enroll her in a school in sindhudurg?Does a father have this right?

parents can decide on which parent will have final decision making authority. you may file an application under section 26 of HMA or may file a child custody petition for the appointment of the guardian of the minor child, there is no requirement for the RCR or divorce case, all the cases are separate from each other.

Dear queriest, However if a husband fails to pay maintenance, one may file execution proceedings. When there is no adherence to that, there could be non bailable warrant issued in name of husband. His property could be attached, in order to recover the amount, as and when issued by court.

However, adultery can still be considered grounds for divorce and can have legal and social consequences, particularly for women.
