Q: What happens if dowry FIR is filed on a person while he is abroad

Is that possible to travel aboard when FIR registered on dowry case? And what happens in case if person in aboard and bride family register FIR on the husband? Kindly please reply. Thanks in advance.

FIR can be registered even if the husband is in abroad. Dowry may be even asked over phone call or video call. If FIR filed then the husband family should apply anticipatory bail without anymore delay.

Hello, if you say that your marriage is not yet consummated then you may check with your wife and their family about whether she want to live with you or not. If she says not willing then you may go for marriage annulment instead of divorce.
