Dear Sir/Mam Suggest me if any shopkeeper or hotel manager etc charge more then the MRP, what kind of action we can take.

This is unfair trade practice under consumer Protection Act and therefore a consumer complaint can be filed against the shopkeeper. You can also inform about it to concerned department in the government who may take action against him

Q: How to get relief to accused in sexual harassment case

Committee proceedings have extended up to 162 days. Committee concluded proceedings on 12/04/2016 but have not given its report till date although a notice for the same has been given. It has also emerged in the proceeding that complaint does not fall under sexual category. What is the relief/remedy available to male person against whom the complaint is so made.

can court force husband to take back wife without will as per hindu law is not supported by his own family

Obviously the court can ask a husband to stay with her wife . Why on Earth marry, if you don't want to stay with each other! Pl see section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act. It talks of restitution of conjugal rights

Q: Not repairing fridge within warranty period what action can I take

one unitech service centre has repaired our refrigerator and provided us with 3 months warranty for it. After one week , the refrigerator again stopped working. my family and i have gone through mental agony as well due to non working of refrigerator because of their's fault.In spite of many calls and reminders the agent from the centre is not coming for repairing the fridge. We have send a legal notice to them. Can i ask for mental harrasment compensation also? and if yes then how much? and also can i ask for fee from the centre which i have paid to the advocate.

Ya obviously you can file a consumer complaint in this case. But you will have to think about the litigation expenses involved as your issue is a small one but the litigation expenses can be higher than what you will hv to pay for repair of fridge. You can claim a high amount as compensation , but I am not sure if Court will grant a high compensation in such a case. The litigation cost may be granted but not very high

Q: Cheating and subsequent harrassment by American Express Credit Card

I am a law abiding citizen serving in Indian Armed Forces. I was offered American Express Gold Card by giving all assurances by Sales team regarding my requirements. However after recieving the card I have been mentally harrassed for petty purchases of as low as 1200/- because of deficient services of Am Ex. I have been cheated with false promise at the time of selling the card. I and my family have faced insult and mental agony. What action can I take?
