Q: What can be done if cheque got bounced

I sold out three sparingly used carpets to a lady in Delhi for Rs.12,000/-. She gave me a post-dated cheque in first week of September 2016. The cheque was dated 15th October, 2016. I trusted her and deposited it in my account with SBI, Maya Enclave. The cheque was returned to me on account of insufficient funds in her account. I informed the lady on telephone. She promised to pay me the money on 5th December, 2016. In spite of repeated requests on telephone she has not cared to pay me the above amount. I am an 79 yrs old and suffering from arthritis. Knowing this she has deceived me as she knows I cannot move about much. I do not know what to do. Please advise what action can be taken..

Firstly legal notice send to the lady for cheque amount as soon as possible. After that cheque bounce case be filed against the lady under section 138 of Negotiable instrument Act. Its a criminal complaint.

Hi All, I am a Hindu women born and brought up in Delhi, got married in Uttarakhand in April 2015 and will be completing two years of marriage in next April. Initially for 2 months after my marriage, my marriage life was running good but then my husabnd started finding more interest in his sister-inlaw (bhabhi, elder brotther's wife) and started comparing me with her and making me feel inferior for no obvious reason. I was feeling inferior and told him about it but nobody in the family cared about me and He started neglecting me more for the same reason. You have many options like firstly filed DV Act. After filing the rest facts will come and when your husband will come in the court then your remedies will come soon. try to call your parents and talks about your problem. you are free to file a case in Delhi also.

Q: Abusive language used by friend on social media what action to take

Hi , I am a business women from delhi one of my client was added to my facebook account and due to some issues (which he claims he had no proof with him) he abused me on my personal profile made disrespectful comments on social media i have a page on my firms name. I wanted to know how can i take help from police. Is this possible. Because i believe whatever issue he had he should have shared on my company website or facebook page not on my personal profile by abusing.

There are number of options you have. You can registered FIR against the person. Firstly you should send the legal notice to the person/client. Various Sections of IPC can be registered against the client.

Q: Under cover police agents harassing me what action can I take?

Im being harassed by some under cover police men for the past few years.They even tried to kill me in a road accident few months back. please advice me on the legal help available to me, as soon a possible.

you can complaint to SHO, DCP through post, email regarding whole incidence which you are facing from few years. You can also file criminal complaint in the court against the person whom are torture you.
