Anticipatory bail application can be filed where you apprehend arrest or where the case is registered.. so both courts have jurisdiction .. there are several decisions by High courts in this issue..Kerala High court was inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the accused in which case was registered at Punjab recently.. in that case the Advocate General of Punjab appeared

Dear Sir,I attended an interview for Java Tech lead position in a company. I went to their office 2 days and clear both face to face round. In the 3rd telephonic round a director told me they are looking for software engineer and not tech lead. I was knowingly cheated by them. So I uploaded the telephonic conversation with them and email screenshot where they mentioned Java Tech Lead in bold letter in a youtube video so as to help future aspirants. My brothers wife is from kerala and we are from tamilnadu Nilgiris recently my brother and his wife had a fight and she faught with him and returned to her hometown and now she is threatening like she has given a police complaint in Calicut police station and we'd recieve an appearance summon. In this case can I seek the help of the court in my district and prevent my mother from this enquiry. Does law permit that or is mandatory for my mother also to appear in the police station. I want my mother to be avoided from this fake case. What are the possibilities.

Mother need not appear in police station as in Kerala there is circular by DGP that women cannot be called to police station fir enquiry..if demand persists you can apply for anticipatory bail either in your place or in Calicut..

I was caught for Drunk Driving at Chegammaanad, ERNAKULAM and was taken to the station I submitted a copy of my RC,LICENCE and insurance papers and was let off on bail.
